Maureen recently visited the main meditation centre in Nonsan, South Korea where this meditation method originated from and she shares her meditation journey and experience of feeling emptied, but so fulfilled at the same time.
Maureen has been diligently meditating with Brisbane Meditation for over 2 years now, and one of the most amazing things about her is her consistency.
Every day, she joins and always finds the time to put her mind first. Given she has spent her life in her professional career taking care of other people's mind, we're definitely happy to see she is now doing her own self work.

Maureen's Meditation Journey in Progress:
"I have always searched for home and love.
At the main centre the staff, helpers and volunteers provided everything for us. All we had to do was just be there.

I experienced times of peace and contentment and times of emotion and upheaval, all embraced within the love that is the main centre. It was this perfect opportunity without any competing interests, to shine the light on the deep-rooted issues and to truly embrace and enjoy the happiness laughter and closeness with everybody there. It was a time to experience Meditation as global, with connections possible with people from so many diverse parts of the world, who were all present for similar reasons, to be grateful to the teachers and their tireless work to lead us to Truth.

I have never before felt so emptied and so full all at the same time - emptied of the burdens of everyday life and the questioning that I have had, and full of the love, calmness and joy of life at the same time. I have found that I have come home to truth and that home has always been within me. I have never been alone on this journey and never will be.
This discovery of happiness and joy is real! I can never be grateful enough."
Maureen.
